As an artist, you are your biggest critic. You take in the words of others and believe them to be true when it could be far from it. You were raised with the notion that your art could never feed you, that you should find a more applicable career path. You were so afraid of what others would think (and that they would think negatively) about your work that you avoided sharing all together. But if you don’t do it now, when will you? Being creative makes you happy so nurture that, and acknowledge others who are brave enough to put themselves out there. Your art is you. You are worth sharing with the world.

I think there’s art, and then there’s illustration. Art comes from a deeper place.
